Step two in finding the right lawyer is to conduct your own research. Fortunately, these days, law firms have a lot of content on the internet. So jump on their website. Their LinkedIn, their TikTok, Instagram, whatever social media profiles they have. By doing your own research. You need to satisfy yourself that this is a person that you wanna work with sometimes for a very long period of time, you’re ultimately gonna be paying them a decent amount of money to help you with your legal needs.

And if you’re not confident in the advice that you’re going to receive, and you actually don’t like the person don’t like their values, then you’re not necessarily gonna be able to work well with them. By getting as much information during the research process, you can help inform yourself for stage three, which we’ll talk about in a sec of interviewing your lawyer to ask the tough questions, stage four and get the right lawyer to do your job.
