Hi, I’m Dugald Hamilton, founder and principal of 23legal. We’re a commercial litigation and insolvency forum, which is lawyer technospeaks for: we deal with large money disputes, whether you are being sued by someone for a large amount of money, or even a small amount of money, or need to recover that money yourself.

The court system is a very antiquated and old system where it still considers a Dropbox to be a physical box in the front of the courtroom, rather than a cloud server that interconnects you with the rest of the world, our clients are anything from small individuals, all the way up to large multinational corporations.

Clients come to us when they have large disputes, usually over money, which they can’t resolve and they need a lawyer to help them cut through the legal technospeak. But also the commercial impasse that arises when two people aren’t really getting on anymore.
